Norway Bergen Going Out - Dr. Livingstone Travellers Cafe

Dr. Livingstone is a gold mine for both hungry and thirsty locals and globetrotters. The venue is centrally situated at the beginning of Bergen’s most cosmopolitan street. The atmosphere inside Dr. Livingstone is unpretentious, just like the rest of Kong Oscarsgaten. Very relaxed, very intimate and very friendly!

The venue occupies two floors with the Dr. Livingstone Pub on the ground floor, Travellers Cafe on the second and Livingstone’s Outdoor Restaurant, an unusually charming outdoor restaurant in the rear courtyard. Immediately next door, and with its own entrance to Travellers Cafe, lies Mr. Bean, the City’s best coffee bar.

The homely old Bergen style house was built in 1702 and has since then, right up until the recent conversion, housed printers and bookbinders. The tasteful and unique conversion from printers ink and typeface has resulted in Norway’s first Travellers Cafe a relaxed journey through international food cultures and traditions.

Location: Center of Bergen.
Address: Kong Oscarsgate 12
Telephone: +47 55 56 03 12.
