Hanna’s Place

Hanna’s Place - photo 1 Copyright Hanna Lien.

Cosy and spacious apartment in a traditional Bergen house built in 1820. Hanna’s Place is located in the well preserved "Rose Hamlet" area of the city. The apartment lies in a house on the outer perimeter of this small cluster of white wooden houses, cobblestone streets and small gardens. Hanna’s place boasts the largest private garden in the area, which our guests are of course welcome to use at any time.

Hanna’s Place is centrally located - whether you would like easy access to the city centre, numerous mountain trails or just to idle away some hours fjordside. Hanna will be happy to show you a way into town along charming, cobblestone pedestrian streets that will take you to the city centre in just 15-20 minutes. If you prefer, you may use the frequent bus service which brings you to the city centre in a matter of minutes. From Hanna’s Place you can walk to the city fjord in 3 minutes or reach the popular mountain paths in 10. There is a local shop in the neighbourhood and public transport just a stones throw away.

Hanna’s Place has been fully rehabilitated though it has kept its original architecture and detail, giving our guests that "old world" feeling. It is very cosy and has it’s own wood burning stove - nice to gather around on those chilly evenings. The apartment (50 m2) is tastefully and fully furnished with all facilities and equipment. It has a private entrance so you may come and go as you please. It is ideal for short and longer stays and sleeps up to 4 people - 2 in a king size bed and 2 in a fold-out bed, a baby cot can be supplied.

Welcome to Hanna’s Place! We speak English, German and Spanish.
