Lone Camping is the biggest camping in Bergen. Beautifully situated a 25 minutes drive (19 km.) from Bergen. We can provide camping ground, tent sites, motel, cabins, canoe hire, TV-lounge, billiard.

Lone Camping is just beside road no. 580, 19 km from the centre of Bergen. With an area of 13 acres and space for almost 300 tents, it is Bergen’s largest campsite. The idyllic location beside Lake Haukeland, with the shapely Liafjellet rising to 650 meters in the background, makes Lone Camping just the thing for people wanting the peace and quiet of the countryside but at the same time wanting the attractions, shops and culture of Bergen within easy reach.

The campsite has a motel building with 12 flats and 18 chalet, including an exclusive log cabin. The sanitation is modern, and there is mains electricity for 150 caravans. The motel on the campsite has 12 flats, designed for self catering. Two are 33 sq.m. with 6 beds and ten are 22 sq.m. with 4 beds. The flats are tastefully decorated and have toilet, shower, refrigerator, kitchen equipment and color-TV. Linen may be hired.

Just beside the main road and the campsite is at Shell petrol station, with a large selection of groceries, newspapers, magazines and other articles. Open 06-23, Saturdays and Sundays 08-23. The next building also houses a cafeteria serving both snacks and full meals.
