Rosendal and the Rosendal Barony
At Rosendal you can visit the Rosendal Barony with Scandinavia’s smallest baronial manor, built in 1665. The manor is set in Norway’s loveliest Renaissance garden, with more than 2000 roses blooming from July to November. You can see the family vault in Kvinherad Church (1255), and learn about local shipbuilding traditions at the Skaalurensamlinga exhibition. You could also spend some time at the various art galleries in the village.
The Barony is open daily May 1st to September 30th.
