Utne is rich in guesthouse traditions and has lots of beautiful wooden houses. Utne Hotel, which was founded in 1722, is the oldest hotel in Norway to have been continuously in operation.
With its romantic, relaxed atmosphere it is an ideal place for a light meal.
The Hardanger Folk Museum is located close to the fjord, only 200 meters from the quay. The museum contains exhibition showing local craft traditions and folk art in addition to changing exhibitions on different themes.
