The Museum includes The City Art Collections, Stenersens Collection and Rasmus Meyers Collection. In «The City Art Collection» your will find a notable collection of Norwegian and international paintings, mainly from the 19th and the 20th century. Also alternating exhibitions. «Stenersens Collection» contains 250 works by Norwegian and internationally known painters from this century. North-Europe's largest collection of paintings by Paul Klee, several works by Picasso, Miro, Kandinsky, Munch, Weidemann i.e.. «Rasmus Meyers Collection» contains main works from Norwegian art history from the 18th century to 1915, i.e.. J.C.Dahl, Tidemand and Gude, Werensldold, Chr. Krogh, as well as a notable collection of Edv. Munch. The museum also shows interiors from old Bergen homes.
