Open air museum with more than 40 wooden houses, representative of the Bergen architecture in the 18th and 19th centuries. The houses have interiors from the 18th, 19th and the 20th centuries, and give picture of life in a small town with its dwellings, different shops, baker, barber, dentist, photographer etc. The museum area is open all year.
Highly recommended to join the guided tours (fee, every hour, the first at 10.00, the last at 17.00/5pm). The houses are only open for participators at the guided tours.
