Situated in the heart of historic Bergen directly behind Bryggen. The Fish market, the Funicular, and the city center are all within 5 min walk from our street.
The guesthouse consists of two houses, number 9 in which we rent out a 2 bedroom apartment, and number 2b in which we have 4 rooms available for rent. We are available for short and long term stay.
Stolesmauet 9 Apartment was built in the 1760’s, but has been renovated in the last years. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, a living room with double sleeping bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. It is furnished with a dishwasher, a TV connected with a DVD player, and there is free wireless internet connection. This apartment is perfect for up to 4 people, but can easily fit 6 people.
Stolesmauet 2b Guesthouse was built in the early 1700’s, and though it’s been renovated a lot of times since then, the wood inside the walls of the first floor are original from this time. All of the 4 rooms are located on the ground floor. Here we have 2 large and 2 small double rooms. The toilet and the shower room are two separated rooms. The first floor of Stolesmauet 2b can also be rented as a unit if you wish for more privacy, but for this option you will need to book well in advance.
All rooms can also be fitted with a baby bed free of charge.
You will find bakery, grocery store, cafes and restaurants in the very close neighborhood. The scenic walkways of Fjellveien and Fløyen are also easily accessible. A walk exploring in the historic area of tight alleyways, known as smau, that is surrounding the house is a great experience in itself.
