Hardangerfjorden
Hardanger is a name that Norwegians associate with blossom and fruit. In truth the orchard of Norway! Who would believe that you can grow apples, pears, plums and even cherries at 60° north??
A mild and pleasant climate and clear, light summer nights are ideal for our guests, as well as for fruit and berries. In the centre of the district is the Hardangerfjord. High up you enter the Hardangervidda National Park and two of Norway’s largest glaciers, Folgefonna and Hardangerjøkulen. From mountains and glaciers the majestic waterfalls foam down into the queen of fjords.
This is Hardanger - a mixture of cold and warm, wilderness and quiet idylls, of old traditions and modern times!
We welcome you to the municipalities of Hardanger; Eidfjord, Granvin, Jondal, Kvam, Odda , Ullensvang and Ulvik trough four seasons of beauty.
