Fossli Hotel
Fossli Hotel is situated in the innermost end of the Hardanger Fjord ca. 30 min from Eidfjord. The hotel affords s magnificent view over the Måbø Valley and the 182 m high Vøringfossen Waterfall. The hotel is tastefully designed by the famous Norwegian architect Konow Lund. It was built in 1891, which was 25 years before the road was built, and all the materials were carried on horseback to the top. Edvard Grieg used to be a regular guest, and wrote his Opus 66 here.
