West Norwegian Opera

Since 1995, it has become a tradition to have outdoor summer opera at Bergenhus Castle, which with its historical surrondings, gives a powerful and beautiful background for a unique opera experience for the audience as well as for the performers. The brick walls of Håkonshallen create a perfect acoustic and a decorative framework for opera.
