Bjorgvin Marknad (market) is a festival where we will take you back to the Viking and medieval ages. It will be arranged at Horda Museum, outside the center of Bergen.
On the festival you can witness fighting scenes with re-enactment groups, you can practice your skill with bow and arrow at the archery range, and have a look at the merchandise for sale at the market.
We will also have historic exhibitions of daily life in Bergen (Viking name Bjorgvin) and lectures by professors in history, and we will also serve food prepared like they did 1000 years ago. This will be a visit to remember!
