On May 1st 2006, the Hanseatic Hotel opened at Bryggen in Bergen. The hotel is located in Finnegarden, in the very center of Bergen. The hotel comprise 16 unique and stylish rooms in a very charming setting.

Finnegarden is, together with the Hanseatic Museum a part of Bryggen in Bergen. Bryggen is listed on the Unesco world culture heritage list. The building was rebuilt in 1702.

The interior is exactly the same as it was, with wooden walls and bearing beams.

The hotel seems to be quite ordinary outside at the photo, but inside it is very nice and characterized by the building tradition and building age.
