
St. Mary Church is the oldest building in Bergen. This church is also known as Mariakirken in Norwegian language. The church is from the first half of the 12th century, and one of the most outstanding Romanesque churches in the country. The pulpit is the pride of the church and is considered the richest example of Baroque decorative art in Norway.
